“ Omg we really loved this place, food tastes really authentic and absolutely delicious. Family run business, felt like we were in Italy. Highly recommend this place. ”
“ Had an amazing experience with a large group, even after surprising them with no reservation and walking in right after they opened. We needed food, and drinks, and fast, all on a deadline before our good friends wedding festivities were kicking off with a welcome party later that eve. Maurizio was super kind, took charge, and offered to order for the table. The amount of food was perfect, the wine was on point, and most of all we had an incredible time overall! Would definitely head back here in a heartbeat, the food was excellent but the service was the best part and made for a super memorable evening and highlight of the trip! ”
“ Great experience- Maurizio was engaging and helpful and helped me to build a meal the perfect size for dining on my own. One of their chefs was training out front and very helpful and ending as well. Wine was lovely, past was perfectly cooked, sauce was flavourful. I think the only possible improvement was the tomatoes in the caprese- not the rich, deep red I’d like to see but the accompanying buffalo mozzarella was soft and melt in your mouth. Excellent! Clean, cute bathroom with some humour and a bit of positive affirmation too- lovely touch. When I later met Sweet, we had an amazing chat. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Cambridge. 7 out of 5 for atmosphere ”
“ Came in for an early Valentine’s meal with my partner and OH MY this is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to!! Very reasonably priced, incredibly fresh and tasty pasta dishes, beautiful homemade tiramisu, lovely atmosphere and SUPER friendly staff! It was our first time visiting and it won’t be our last, I can’t think of a single thing to fault this place. We shared a lovely bottle of Italian red wine but would love to come back to try all the different and wonderful negronis they have to offer. The waiter serving us had a smile at all times and was so friendly, and even put our limoncello on the house. Was a perfect choice for our date night and super happy we’ve found another amazing gem on Mill Road. Skip booking the chain restaurants that charge a fortune for food made with little love when you have a genuine family owned restaurant that does everything miles better! ”
“ Fabulous dishes. The guanciale pasta was fabulous, service excellent, we could have lingered longer but the Eurovision Dr Who beckoned. Lovely Aglianico too. ”
“ Absolute love it. Me and my partner really enjoyed the traditional flavours and vibes of a authentic Italian restaurant/pizzeria. Great people Great prices Amazing food! What more else you can really ask for?! ”
“ Excellent Service, Authentic Pizza.... From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by staff, and throughout the meal, Lois our server, provided top-notch customer service. She was incredibly attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring our dining experience was perfect. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the pizza. It transported me back to Italy with its authentic taste and flavour. The secret, I believe, lies in the fresh ingredients they use, which make every bite a burst of deliciousness. I am already craving another visit to savour that mouth-watering pizza again!. The only minor inconvenience we encountered was the lack of an on-site car park, as the restaurant is situated in the high street. However, this was quickly resolved as we discovered off-street and other nearby lanes offering convenient parking options. ”
“ Casual Italian Restaurant The food tasted good. I love the unique smokey flavour of the pizza. The crust of the pizza was thin, not chewy. Tomato sauce of the pasta didn't taste sugary. You know, tomato sauce normally has more added sugar than we expected. The tiramisu tasted amazing. So airy and creamy, not too sweet at the same time. Reminds me of the tiramisu of Signorelli's Deli. It looks like a restaurant with history, as it looks so rustic. But still, everything was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly to customers. I will return to try other pasta and pizza. And more tiramisu. ”
